Kentucky!

So just realizing that I haven't updated in a WHILE... So.. we moved to Kentucky mid October, living in Nicholasville now. Jon is still working at walmart, he just transferred to the Nicholasville store, he's still in the guard like before as well, just now it's the Kentucky National Guard. The girls are growing up so amazingly fast sometimes I just dread going to bed to see how big they'll be the next day haha. Sophie says Mom and Dad and BNana and Hi and Hiya, she is one little character. I love her so much, my little doll baby. Ella is still crazy as ever getting into everything and being crazy Ella, she's just a little taller now haha. Zoey seems like she's 5 going on 15, some days she is the little girl and then sometimes she is my little teenager. She is so smart and loves doing puzzles online. She loves to sing (her new favorite is Santa Claus is coming to town, given the season it's ok) I can't believe it is literally 9 days until Christmas and I'm just now posting pictures from Halloween, lets just hope I don't wait until Valentines day to post Christmas pictures hahaha. A try at Family pics

So Jon volunteered to go to Germany on a National Guard training thing so he left August 22nd but the day before he left I set up the tripod and we tried to take some Family pics.. Here are how some of them turned out. :)

Sophie is silly girl..

I cannot believe how fast they grow up! She is already walking full on and getting into everything. She is our little giggle monster, me and the girls love her so much! She had a really late nap the other day and we were up late with her and she started making these funny faces at me with her tongue so I grabbed the camera and got it on video! enjoy! haha

Suzie's visit

My friend Suzie came to see me the other day on her way back home to California. I was soo excited. I haven't seen her since 2002/2003? and it was nice to have a short visit to catch up. Jon was working so after we ate dinner we stopped by Wally to say hi and snapped some pics in the parking lot. (I miss you guys Suzie!) It was nice to have a visit!

Fathers Day..

Just catching up a bit here in pictures.. We went to my mom's for Father's day weekend. Not anything fancy really just cooked out chicken on the grill and had corn/pasta salad etc. Then hung out. Most of the pics are of the Family playin Rockband :)

backyard pool time..

We bought this little plastic pool summers ago, sad to say this was the last time they will play in it (many summer sun's on it has dryrotted it) it has a big crack around the bottom and the total pool time from pictures lasted about 15 mins before all the water had leaked out. They had fun tho. Sophie's first time in the pool. She is a little water bug.. completely loves it.

Growin up too fast!

So I remembered I had this walker toy from the older girls stored in the garage, I pulled it out, cleaned it up and she couldn't wait to get goin. She LOVES it, funny girl. She is growing up WAY too fast. And if you want another giggle, watch our silly two year old Ella in the background... (she takes after her daddy! hehe j/k) I got a few cute lil videos last night but this one topped the list because doubling it up with Sophie and Ella's slick moves hehe.

What Did I Do Today?

Today I left some dishes dirty,
The bed got made around 3:30.
The diapers soaked a little longer,
The odor grew a little stronger.
The crumbs I spilled the day before
Are staring at me from the floor.
The fingerprints there on the wall
Will likely be there still next fall.
The dirty streaks on those windowpanes
Will still be there next time it rains.
Shame on you, you sit and say,
Just what did you do today?

I held a baby till she slept,
I held a toddler while she wept.
I played a game of hide and seek,
I squeezed a toy so it would squeak.
I pulled a wagon, sang a song,
Taught a child right from wrong.
What did I do this whole day through?
Not much that shows, I guess that's true.

I found this poem while browsing thru websites, I'm not really sure of the author, but being a stay at home mom, some days I just look at the house and all the things that DONT look done and stress over them but as I look back at the day, well.. it's like this poem inspires. You may stop by my house at any time of the day and find me and my girls still in our jammies and the house not 'perfect'. But I've noticed the last few years, they just grow up too fast!

A day at Sand Hollow Lake

A big bully and many tears...

So here is my sweet baby girl Sophie Rae... She is a little over 8 months old now and crawling and getting into everything.




Here is crazy Ella...



And here is what Ella did to Sophie's back.. Yes, that is a BITE mark.. for what reason I don't know but I cried when I saw it. You can see every single little tooth and she was holding on good because you can see the lines from where Sophie pulled away. Ella is such a big bully.. I dont know what to do! :(

7 Years and couting...

Yesterday marked the 7 year anniversary of Jonathan and I being married. We didnt do much since Jon worked the majority of the day but I was greeted at 9:30 by my sweet hubby arriving home with a dozen beautiful red roses, a sweet card and a new gold chain necklace (mine broke ages ago and we haven't gotten it fixed). I love it! What a great suprise. I love you Jon!

Sophie is crawling!

K so Sophie has been up on her hands and knees for about a month now and then gradually seeming like she was gonna crawl. Well she started with the walrus type crawl where she'd get up on her arms and then flop forwards.. this was first done after a balloon. Then this last week I have noticed her more and more crawling and just tonight got a quick video of her on my cell. The lighting is bad and ignore my voice and backgrounds but look how big our little baby is! They grow up too fast.

Trying out a new idea...

So we drove out to the Arizona strip and when the sun was setting I wanted to try out one of my ideas, here are the results...

Sunsets..

Such a pretty sunset, I was driving home and RAN in the house trying to get the camera before it was gone. It was fading so fast I wish I could have got a pic 2 minutes earlier of the wonderous streaks across the sky but this coloring is still pretty. Looking out the back of my house and over the big sprinkler hehe.
